In 2017, the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport, within the framework of the Valencian Artistic Heritage Incentive Plan, launched a line of acquisition of works of art, with the intention of invigorating the contemporary art market while gathering a whole of works representative of the state of artistic creation in our Community.

The word is the main thread of the works that this second exhibition in Vilafranca brings together, understood as a repository of meanings that are never arbitrary, because they enclose the history and the way we see the world of a society. Words make us understand reality, but also the words we use tell us how we are, in our particular and individual way of seeing the world. They are testimony to our personal history and how that story has been passed down over generations with other stories and other realities.
